Franchises are only granted for a specific period of time and, at the end of that period, the franchisor is not obliged to grant me a further franchise term unless the Franchise Agreement says otherwise.

Operating a franchise requires the franchisee to comply with the franchisors system and way of doing business.

In the course of operating a franchise I will be provided some confidential information which I must keep confidential even after the franchise ends.

After the franchise ends I may not be permitted to open a similar business or operate within a certain distance of the proposed bytherules franchise

Operating a franchise may require me to regularly work on days and at times which might be considered outside of normal business hours and this may have an effect on my family

In considering the bytherules franchise opportunity it is my responsibility to develop my own view regarding the financial potential of the proposed franchised business.

Nobody, including bytherules can predict the outcome of a business venture and that any venture has a risk of failure.

bytherules has advised me to obtain independent legal, accounting and business advice regarding the bytherules franchise opportunity and that not doing so may expose me to an increased level of risk or leave me unaware of some material aspect of the Bytherules franchise system.

Operating a franchised business places certain demands upon the franchisee and their families and having their support is critical to my potential for success.

In making this application I understand and have considered the requirement to follow the franchisor’s way of doing business and agree that, if granted a bytherules franchise, I will:

Cooperate fully with the franchisor at all times.

Diligently comply with the franchisor’s system of doing business, standards and other requirements.

Devote my whole time and attention to the operation and management of the Bytherules business.

Please attach the following supporting information as indicated;

If you intend to operate the proposed Bytherules franchise through a company, a copy of the company’s Constitution and Registration Certificate

If you intend to operate the proposed Bytherules franchise as a trustee of trust, a copy of the Trust Deed and any other related deeds.

I, the undersigned, declare the following:

· As far as I am aware the answers and information I have provided in this application form are true and correct in all respects, and that no relevant details have been omitted

I further acknowledge that:

· If any information included in this application form is false or misleading in any way, bytherules shall have the right to terminate any franchise agreement entered based on the information contained in this application.

· The Application Fee paid by me to bytherules at the time of submitting this application form is fully refundable until I sign a Franchise Agreement in accordance with the Franchise Code of Conduct

· After the execution of the Franchise Agreement and as permitted by the Franchise Code of Conduct the Application Fee will become non-refundable and will be applied against the bytherules’ cost of recruitment, including the preparation and negotiation of the franchisor’s legal documentation.

I authorise bytherules to:

· Obtain a report detailing my personal credit history from a credit reporting agency of bytherules choosing and at its cost

· Obtain from the relevant government authority a report detailing my personal police record

· Obtain from the referees listed in this application any information that may assist bytherules in its evaluation of this application
